Flamingo 2K epoxy resin system
transparent - crystal clear - odorless
The 2K epoxy resin system is a low-viscosity UV-stabilized system with a long processing time.
For creative furniture design, jewelry design, model making and other casting applications in the interior.
Mixing ratio (weight):
100 parts resin / 35 parts hardener
Processing time:> 330 min
Processing:
Shake or stir product well before use.
In a suitable mixing container (e.g. PP), resin and hardener are weighed according to the mixing ratio. Deviations from the mixing ratio lead to incomplete curing and loss of properties.
Mix thoroughly with a stirring rod or propeller, including the edge zones. Any streaking that is still present indicates insufficient mixing.
After the mixture has been completely homogenized, an additional UV stabilizer, dry fillers and color pastes can optionally be stirred in for tinting.
Adjust the quantities of the individual batches to the respective work step.
Tinting:
Stir up to 5% flamingo color paste or flamingo afterglow pigment into the finished casting resin mixture.
UV stabilizer:
For applications that are particularly exposed to UV light, such as outdoors, up to 3% Flamingo UV stabilizer can be added to the finished casting resin mixture.
(Epoxy systems are naturally subject to a slight yellowing, this can be achieved by adding
Flamingo UV stabilizer can be reduced.)
Work equipment cleaning:
Clean tools with acetone immediately after use.
Hardened material can only be removed mechanically, e.g. by grinding.
Storage:
Do not mix up the covers of the components.
Close opened containers tightly.
Store in a cool and dry place. Shelf life with optimal storage 1 year.
